About Us

Who are We?

The Postsecondary Innovation Network, formerly known as The Texas Higher Education Leadership Consortium, is a network of two- and four-year public higher education institutions and systems committed to innovation and collaboration to enhance educational opportunity and success for Texas students. This unique collaboration reflects an understanding by higher education leaders that improving postsecondary education in Texas will require innovative thinking and joint effort. Network leaders are committed to reaching beyond their own campuses to catalyze innovation and opportunity for the benefit of all students in Texas.

Our Approach

The Postsecondary Innovation Network leaders regularly convene at The University of Texas at Austin to critically examine issues facing higher education and formulate collaborative policy and program solutions for Texas students. Network partners often welcome state and national leaders to collaboratively design policy solutions that support the advancement of Texas higher education. Additionally, institutions work closely together to craft and implement innovative programs that improve educational opportunity and student success across Texas.
